Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Capy Tools, operated by Noble Industries, Inc., collects, uses, discloses, secures, and retains information when you use CapySign and other Capy products.

Scope and roles

This policy applies to our websites, applications, support, billing, and communications. For documents a customer uploads or sends, that customer generally determines the purpose of processing and acts as the data controller or business; Capy Tools acts as a processor or service provider. For account, security, billing, and product operations, Capy Tools determines the purpose of processing.

Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect account and profile details; company information; saved signatures and initials; support messages; payment and transaction identifiers; documents, media, recipient details, document fields, responses, signatures, consent records, and other content you choose to process.

Information collected automatically

We collect device and browser information, IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and signing and transaction events. CapySign audit records may include document identifiers, document hashes, viewing and signing events, signature method, consent, IP address, and user agent.

Information from others

Customers may provide a recipient’s name, email, and document content. Payment processors and authentication providers may return transaction, identity, fraud-prevention, or account information.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the services; authenticate users; store and process files; create signing sessions and completion records; process purchases; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot errors; comply with law; enforce agreements; and improve product reliability and accessibility. We do not sell document content or signatures, use private customer documents to target advertising, or train public generative-AI models on private customer content without explicit permission.

How we disclose information

We disclose information to recipients and collaborators you direct us to involve; infrastructure, storage, authentication, payment, email, analytics, customer-support, and security providers acting under contract; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; and a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset transfer. We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Browser tools and preferences

QR, GIF, vector, audio, and email-signature processing runs in your browser. These source files are not uploaded by those tools. CapySign PDF files and signing records are stored on the server. Profile and visualizer preferences are stored on your device. Externally hosted images in email signatures are loaded from their hosts.

Payments

Stripe or another payment processor handles payment-card data. We receive purchase status, amount, product, customer, and transaction identifiers but do not intentionally store complete card numbers or card security codes.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the service, maintaining transaction and security records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Draft documents may be deleted by the owner. Completed agreements, certificates, ledger entries, fraud records, and audit events may be retained after account deletion when necessary to preserve transaction evidence or satisfy legal obligations. Deletion requests do not require us to delete information another customer controls; contact that customer directly for those records.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encrypted transport, private object storage, access controls, authorization checks, tokenized recipient links, document hashes, audit records and request limits. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and signing links and promptly reporting suspected compromise.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or appeal a privacy decision. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right. Submit requests to privacy@capytools.com. We may verify identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.

Cookies and tracking

We use necessary cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies that legally require consent, we will provide an applicable choice mechanism. We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals where no uniform legal standard applies.

International transfers

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.

Children

The services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Users must satisfy the age and legal-capacity requirements in our Terms.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when required, additional notice or consent.
